HomeMy WebLinkAboutProsecution Zoning Violations Policy Resolution of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality Pursuant to Sections 266(2) of the Municipal Government Act of Nova Scotia, the Council of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality hereby adopts the following Resolution: THAT: Council rescinds its policy on Land Use By-law prosecution procedures adopted by Resolution October 19th, 1999 and gives primary authority to the Chief Administrative Officer to authorize all prosecutions of Land Use By-law violations when requested to do so by the Development Officer. Staff shall notify the Planning Advisory Committee and the local councillor of the particulars of such legal actions for information purposes to keep them apprised of the situation. PASSED AS A RESOLUTION by a majority of the whole Council at a duly called meeting of the Cape Breton Regional Municipal Council held on January 16th, 2001. MAYOR CLERK THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the attached is a true and correct copy of a Resolution of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, pursuant to Section 266 (2) of the Municipal Government Act of Nova Scotia.
