Management Staff Benefits Policy

LEGISLATIVE AUTHORITY
This policy derives its authority from Section 65(r) of the Municipal Government
Act of the Province of Nova Scotia.
BENEFITS
Each managerial employee is eligible for inclusion in a registered pension plan
and the benefit plans offered by CBRM.
Management staff enrolled in a CBRM registered pension plan will make a
contribution of 5.25% of regular earnings. CBRM will make a matching
contribution to the plan.
The Benefits Program is available to all management staff. Premiums to the
plan will be paid on a 60/40 basis, with CBRM contributing 60% and the
employee contributing 40%, being the same sharing rate of CBRM employees.
